How to use the 2GIS Cargo Navigator

2GIS can build routes for cargo transport based on its empty mass and gross weight, vehicle dimensions, and load specifications.

Also, the feature will exclude streets with restrictions for cargo transport from the route.

Here’s what the Cargo Navigator considers:

• vehicle dimensions: weight and height,
• empty weight and gross weight,
• ”No Hazardous Materials” road sign.

2GIS Cargo Navigator will come in handy for road cargo transporters to build optimal routes and traffic outlook.

How to enable the cargo navigation

1. Click on the Route Search button to the right of the search bar and set the starting and final points of your route.
2. Select Car Routes and then open the Filters tab and enable Cargo Navigation.
3. Specify the dimensions of your vehicle, its empty weight, and gross weight. If applicable, enable the Hazardous materials specification.
4. Choose one of the suggested routes.
