How to create a collection in Favourites

In order to remember an important address or an interesting company, 2GIS users can mark them as Favourites. This feature works on all the devices that you use being signed in to your account in 2GIS. You can mark a company as your favorite on 2gis.com and then find its card in the Favourites section on your mobile device.

The cards of companies that you marked as Favourites are stored in separate folders — we call them “collections”. You can add all your favorite companies to one collection or create several collections with their own themes, for example, “Good beauty parlors” or “New restaurants to check out”.

If you use 2gis.com, you can choose a title for your collection, add a description and a cover. If you use 2GIS mobile app, you can add a title, and also you can decide whether you want to see the icons of your favorite companies on the map or not.

2GIS users can share their collections by messengers, social media or e-mail.

One can also add to Favourites one’s work and home addresses in order to build routes more quickly.

Add a company to your Favourites section

Find in 2GIS a company or a building that you want to mark as your favorite and open its card.
Click on the “Favourites” button — the heart icon on the right.
Select a collection where you want to add this company or building.

Add to Favourites your home or work address

Open “Favourites” section by clicking on the heart icon in the bottom right corner of the map next to your photo.
Click “Add address” beside the title “Home” or “Work”.
Type in the address and click the tick on the right.

Create a collection

Open “Favourites” section by clicking on the heart icon in the bottom right corner of the map next to your photo.
Click “Create collection”.
Select a name and a short description for a new collection. You can also add a photo (a cover) for your collection.
Find a company that you want to mark as your favorite and click on the heart icon in the card.
Select a collection where you want to add this company.

Edit a collection

If you need to find a rare spare part for a car, or tile of a certain type, you can make a collection with all relevant companies, call them, add comments after each call, and only then make your choice.

Move your mouse cursor over the name of the collection, and select what you want to do with it — edit, share or delete.
To change the style of how the companies are displayed in the collection from strings to tiles, click on the corresponding icon on the left of the “close” and “minimize” buttons.
To edit any of the cards in the collection, move your mouse cursor over it and select what you want to do — edit the name, add a comment or remove a card from the collection.

Share a collection

If you have created a really good collection that can be useful to others, you can share it.

Move your mouse cursor over the name of the collection and click “Share”.
Copy the link to send it to your friends, or select in which social media you want to share your collection.
If you change your mind, click “Close access” under the name of the collection, and it will be available only to you again.
