How to turn off automatic updates in 2GIS for Android through paid Wi-Fi

Installing and updating

The first option is to set Wi-Fi equal to mobile networks. Go to your phone Settings → Mobile data → the three dots icon → Data limit. Then choose the Wi-Fi network you want your device to see as mobile.

The second option is to restrict background data, so the app does not install updates when it’s not in use. Note, this will also disable notifications from messengers, social media, etc.

The Background data switch should be located on the same screen: Settings → Mobile data → the three dots icon.
